Two events have requested official FAYA sanctioning. The first will be held this weekend (August 17 -19) at Findlay, Ohio. Phil Clinger will uphold the FAYA mission to make the event fun and full of parking lot stories and fellowship. The next event will be Labor Day weekend. The Pumpkin Drop will have no problems meeting the sanctioning guidelines. I'm pretty sure that they don't have any rules and I know from numerous drunken phone calls from past events that they have the fellowship part down pat. If you haven't been invited to either of these events......too bad for you. Let's see who is ready to get the official FAYA tattoo.

It was a birthday week for any FAYA member.
Friday Jim, Bubbs and I went to the local stock car races. It was "Mustang Muscle Club night". Looks like I will have to join. THEY got to do a lap around the infield. I was so jealous. Plenty of beer to consume. Saturday brought us two picnics to attend. Plenty of beer at each. My bladder is clean. Happy B-day Phil Thompson. Sunday Bubbs, Jim Kevin and I headed to the local winery for the classic car show. Great OLD cars and plenty of wine. Very hot there so we stopped for some cold beer. Note to self: NEVER volunteer to sit in the back of the Mustang again! Home by sunset. That was a good thing. Monday was my big day. Usual Mon routine includes a book club meeting and a work out. Came out of my workout to a Mustang filled w/helum balloons and decorated w/streamers. We all know the culprit. Spent the afternoon drinking sangria on my deck w/a friend. Dinner w/Bubbs, Jim and Elliott at the local brew pub. Patty's b-day was perfect timing as she had just consumed a Pina Colada in my honor! Tues was not so pleasant as KIT decided to make it obvious that she had a urinary tract infection. Trips to the vet and drugs were the order of the day. Poor baby really isn't feeling well. Last night was bike night. Great band. Even got to dance. So, it was a b-day week to be proud of. Sorry, no pictures!
PS JP says we're going to St Martin this winter so he can take pics of me walking the beach topless and sell them to Birk and Rudlaff. Ha! He thinks he's got retirement out of it! Patty I will GIVE you the pics to post before I'll let him sell them!
