Well, this photo was just submitted by one of our junior members (not old enough to legally drink). Never let it be said that this group does not take competition seriously. They will do about anything to stay in first place. All is fair and love and war and if you read the FAYA rules you would know that there is no penalty for this action.

The scary thing is, that after Rudlaff named the Carson City Event "The Hot Air Balloon Shoot-Out" several people asked if we were actually going to allow them to shoot at the balloons...my immediate comment was, and still is...proceed with caution...they may shoot back! Now we have documentation of some very skilled shooting pilots. Can we put that in the publication next year?
